hedateru launch

I had the idea for this game randomly last week. I was trying to figure out what I wanted to make it with. I was trying to figure out if I wanted to go my normal C & Raylib route, or branch out and try something new. I was surprised when I discovered that the Odin 7-day jam would be held in 2 days (remember that this was last week). I took those couple of days to learn some Odin, and this is what I produced.
Odin was very nice to work with. It has a minor learning curve coming from C, but I enjoy learning new programming languages so it worked out well. I like the steps it takes to differentiate itself from C (glad there’s no header files). It does make game development in particular a bit easier. I also love the fact that raylib is built right into the vendor library.
I’m very proud of this game. It’s certainly my most game-y game. I have been re-playing The Witness recently and thought a lot on how to teach the player without a tutorial. I hope I’ve accomplished that and that you enjoy the game!
